The bulkheads worn t good for the Titanic because they did not build it up to the top so as the water went in the Titanic it flooded the first bulkhead then it when to the second bulkhead I flooded the Titanic.

what we did at Badminion

Have you ever played Badminton at your school befor ? If you haven't keep reading to find what we did   at Badminton. At Badminton there was a guy named Danny he thought us backhand grip hit how to serve the shuttlecock and he also taught us how to do a  4 hand grip.

The first day me and my math class went to Badminton we had a warm up game the warm up game goes like this. There are 2 or 3 people in and if the people that is in tags you you are frozen with your hands out then a guy that isn't in high 10 you not high 5 you but if he or she high 10 youyou are free again after that we played some Badminton.

At the end we played a small game where you have to hit the shuttlecock into a small box.It was aswome with Danny i cant wate till Badminton with Danny again.

Titanic

The Titanic sunk because the ice burg scraped the side of it and 5 bulkheads got folded up and the Titanic sunk in an hour.

There were only 185 life boat’s and only women's and children were aloud to use the life boat while leaving the men to die.

There where 2229 people on the Titanic and half of them died because there was not enough life boat

Floating and sinking

Have you ever wonder why a log or stick floats and a rock sinks?

Well when  gravity pushes down on the sticks then upthrust pushes the stick up  that is what makes it float. A rock sinks because it is heavier than the upthrusts push so it will sink to the bottom.

We have been learning about Thung chai and Thung chais are basket boats.
Thung chais are made in Vietnam this is a map to show how far New Zealand is from Vietnam.

This is a Thung chais and it is what we have been learning about.

A Thung chais is a Basket Boat and it is used for fishing.

This is how long it takes from New Zealand to Qui Nhon.

Before you reach Vietnam you have to stop in 2 different places it take 20 h 55 min.

If you want to ride a Basket Boat you have to go to Vietnam.

my holiday

You will never guess what I did in the holidays.

The holidays started and I was excited to go to my cousins house. When I arrived there we played leg tiggy and ball tiggy, it was really fun. When everyone was sick of playing tiggy we played handball instead.

The champion of handball was my cousin Faruk. It was about 7 o’clock and we were all getting very hungry. My Aunt called us all in for dinner. I was so hungry that I was happy we were having butter chicken with curry.

The next day my cousins friend  came over we played a lot of games so he didn’t  get bored. My other cousin Rahul was going home so we decided that we would go with them. Once we arrived at my other cousins house we ran out to the feijoa tree to eat some.  

Then Faruk said to me “ hey Sohel lets go to the park” I replied “thats a good idea” we went to the park it was really fun playing tiggy and on all the equipment. Suddenly I realised it was getting late and I needed to go home.So i said to Faruk “it’s getting late and I have to go home.” we headed home exhausted after a fun day at the park.

It was fun i would want to go again and play all of the games again.
