Why do we use a knife and fork to eat?
Why do we use a knife and fork to eat?
Have you ever eaten with your hands before? If you eat with your hand’s you will get germs in your mouth, spread germs and people will not want to eat with you if you eat with your hands.
Hygiene
To keep clean you have to use your knife and fork. If you don't you will be smelly and no one will like you. You have lots of germs on your hand’s because you touch all sort of stuff, then if you eat with your hands you will have germs in your mouth and then you will end up being sick.
Bite size pieces
We use a knife and fork so we can pick up the small bits and pieces that our fingers could not get.
We can also cut big pieces and eat them. If the food is too big you will choke on it and die, get a sore stomach or won't be able to fit in your mouth.
Manners
If you eat with your hands in front of your friends parents they will get in barest by you. By the way your if you eat with your hands they might not invite you to there house again. Then you might feel sad. And never ever put your fingers in your drink because that is mixing food into your drink and when you drink out of it it will get you really sick so make your decision.
Now you know why we use a knife and fork to eat i hope you enjoyed my understanding of why we use a knife and fork to eat.If you enjoyed my understanding tick the box that says yes or you can tick the no box if you did not like it

caterpillars
We have been reading about Monarch caterpillars. In this story a boy and his koro watch as a two Monarch caterpillar eggs transform into butterflies. The author wrote this story all about life cycles. The life cycle of a butterfly and koro, his son that died and his moko. The life cycle of a butterfly starts as an egg, the egg hatches into caterpillar, then it eat and eats until it is really fat, then it goes into a chrysalis and turn’s into a butterfly. And as for a human he or she starts as a baby, then it is a child, then a teenager and then an adult. at the beginning it is all about protecting the young then when it grows up we have to let it go.

my holidays
In the holidays me and my Friends built a secret club hut. After that we decorated the inside of our hut. Inside it had some chars, a table and a slide to play on.
The next day the hut broke down because it did not have any nails or rope so to keep it up we fixed it with some flax. Then we found a big tree next to our hut so we decided to build a tree house on it. After we finished we built a swing on the tree. Then we had some fun playing ball tigi and then we had our picnic.
It was rally fun for me if you were there it will be fun for you too.
