The Antarctic Treaty was signed by 12 Countries and here are some of them argentina, australia, south africa, new zealand and japan. the agreement was made to keep the animals safe and to share Antarctica. Did you know that the antarctic treaty was just a plan in 1959 and was made official in 1961?
